When I was there , there was this strange hippie guy that was VERY high and playing a pan pipe. my dad was nervous about him and there ia about 30 different enterances , but most of them are in a nearby canyon.

Ya it stays the same ambient temperature all year underground i used to live by an old train tunnel and it was cold in the summer and warm in the winter

Not necessary. I was just curious because I just visited an underground limestone mine in Kentucky. Cement is a by-product .

cool I just got back from the Elroy Sparta Trail in Wisconsin and i got lots of video of the 3 railroad tunnels that the trail goes through

They mined cement. It was mined by the Utica Cement Manufacturing Company.
It was mined around the late 1800`s.

The book said they mined cement but actually, they mined a type of limestone and mixed it with clay and heated it to make cement. The mines were called the Black Ball mines.
