Aston University and public services company Amey received their first electric cars. The vehicles reach 60mph and are some of the greenest in the Midlands.
looks good - electric cars may have been around since 1800s (what a pathetic snide comment from JUK1001....) but its initiatives like this that are bringing them back into the mainstream - I see it around the city all the time - used by people from Aston Uni going to meetings and schools - good on them. It's also a real mover - 0-30 faster than most petrol cars, perfect for city.
Cool!
