Jeffrey Daniels Performing the Shalamar hit A Night To Remember on Top Of The Pops in 1982. He was the one who taught the moonwalk, as well as many other moves, to Michael Jackson

  • @TheRavingReview Bill baily did the moonwalk (he was a tap dancer) back in the 50's first look it up on you tube.

  • keep in mind that this was the first ever moonwalk even b4 michael jackson did it 4 da 1st time !

  • HE SHOULD OF GOT A CHECK EVERYTIME MICHAEL DID THE MOONWALK!!!

  • Look, where Micheal Jackson got his dance moves from ;-)

He hired this dancer Jeffrey Daniels and copied his style.

  • Thank you for this!!! I loved this performance Wow!!!

  • @2468stinger - Really. That was a racist comment he made. There were white people like Fred Astaire, David Bowie, Dick Van Dyke and this French mime from the WWII era (I can't remember his name) doing the "moonwalk" and similar maneuvers before MJ did. It was mostly black people doing the "moonwalk" before MJ but it wasn't unknown to white people either.

And to the other guy did have a point, MJ did make it more global and famous than Jeffrey Daniel did personally. No offense to Mr. Daniel.

  • those was the best years, now we can only have shit music, even usher is making pop !

  • what kinda potato was this recorded with???

well it almost doesn't matter Jeffrey Daniels is the best all time dancer

  • thats a mime artist

  • I bet all the dancing lads watching Jeffrey felt very inadequate!
