  • WOW. Woot, that is BIG. Were you able to actually weigh it later on, to confirm how much it actually weighed? And were you able to eat it? :-D

  • @professorbongtoker with his left hand, likely trying to not damage it.

  • What a beautiful mushroom. We call it Hedgehog in Texas but others call it Lions Mane. It is a Hericium erinaceus and a choice edible. If the hedgehog is fresh (white and not yellowed), slice thin and sauté in olive oil for a wonderful taste treat.

  • u cant pick up something that weighs 20 pounds?

  • lions mane mushrooms are really good and have been shown in bear grylls survival video to be a good source of food if your lost in the wilderness

thats a whole different ecosystem ur in. u probably got morels n stuff i dont. buy a book on mushrooms and learn it well. i learned from some cajun cats here. the only kind i pick here are oyster mushrooms, lions mane, and chanterelles. here u can only pick oyster mushrooms off tupelo and willow trees only above the water line. below the water line they are poisonous b/c they use oil as food that accumulate on the water line. it'll really get u sick. its serious shit...study!

  • @kwikflikz Well yeah I agree. Somtimes you just have to do it and learn as you go. But do you need a license or anything like that?

  • @buyerofsorts

Go for it. Gather some mushrooms and sell them. That's probably the best advice I can give you. Just be sure to know what you are collecting...

  • @kwikflikz Hi, Can I ask what state you live in? I live in Massachussettes and was thinking of selling mushrooms to restaurants myself. If I won't be any competition for you, would you give me advice on how too? I'd love to get into it! Thanks.
