Hiking the 13.5 miles from Gunsight trailhead to Sperry Chalet via Gunsight Pass, September 2010. Music - Waiting for My Real Life to Begin by Colin Hay. Shot on Canon T2i, native audio, Tokina 100mm f3.5 macro, Canon 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 lens, and Sigma 30mm f1.4 lens. Edited on Macbook Pro with Final Cut Express software, no color or exposure correction.

did you just use the T2i's basic, automatic video settings for this?

@CostelloFilm88 - The T2i does offer auto exposure and auto focus but neither are recommended. Many scenes in the above video would have been over or under exposed shooting in the auto exposure mode. It is also generally recommended to maintain a shutter speed twice the frame rate, leaving really only aperture and iso to manipulate in manual mode. Depending on the brightness of the scene, ND filters give more options as to aperture and resulting DOF. DSLR AF for video is terrible, go manual.

I can't tell you how much I love this video...possibly my favorite Glacier video....

I have become a hopeless addict to this Park....I did this hike in 2009 and 2010 and it is possibly my favorite hike in the Park (of the more than 20 different dayhikes I have done there).....and that is despite the horrible weather both times that I did it (9/7/09, 9/9/10)...Better weather in 2011 hopefully....

You have truly captured the incredibly beauty of the hike under blue skies....
