Jack Lord (December 30, 1920 - January 21, 1998)

My tribute to Jack Lord, one of the greatest actors ever. He was best known for playing the iconic cool cop Steve McGarret on the American television series "Hawaii Five-O" from 1968 - 1980. Prior to that, Jack, guested on numerous TV shows, including the premiere episode of "Have Gun, Will Travel," "Bonanza," "One Step Beyond," "Rawhide," "The Untouchables," "Checkmate," "The Reporter," 'Dr. Kildare," "Cain's One Hundred," "Route 66," "Gunsmoke," "The Virginian," "Laredo," "The High Chaparral," "The Invaders," "The Man From U.N.C.L.E.," "Ironside," "The Outlaw," "The Naked City," "The Loretta Young Show," and "The Millionaire." He was in such films as "Project X," "God's Little Acre," "Dr. No," "Ride to Hangman's Tree," "The Name of the Game is Kill," and "The Counterfeit Killer."

The song I used is called "A Dozen Other Boys," sung by Helen Shapiro. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, on December 12, 1962, and can be found on Helen's "At Abbey Road" album.
