High Plains Raceway Updated In Car Video

The new asphalt at High Plains Raceway has been down for a couple of months. (Even pit roads and paddock!)
This is an updated video, using a wide angle bullet camera attached to the top of a street car.
This view is a much wider angle than the previous video .. now you can see around the corners and get a better feel for the real driving line.
The lap was done at a low speed, but has been sped up here for viewing purposes.
There is clearly still construction going on around the track ... it won't be this dirty when we start racing on it in the Spring!
Notice the new barriers and corner stations (and the birds which always seem to appear on 'Drifter!)
Tire walls are coming next, with curbing in the spring.

We will also have an online winter racing series with an updated computer simulation due out in the next few weeks.
Huge thanks to all those who have contributed so far.
It is very exciting to have a new track in Colorado.
Contributions are still being accepted to help with continuing improvements.

Worked t5 Sunday(6.27.10) at a Lotus event.Rode in an Exige, and that guy drove the Hell out off it! Better than a roller coaster, now I need to win the lottery so I can drive it!!

To all those who have donated and helped and worked, sweated, swore and shed a tear .... you have done it right. There is a long ways to go. There are no facilities and no structures, this is a GREAT track that will be incredible facility once it is finished. When I am done here, I'm sending another check. Its money VERY well spent. Congrats CAMA.

I was at the track today and was lucky enough to be able to lap it, not at speed, my Cherokee was not even gonna be the car for that, nor the conditions etc.... but WOW. This is a real track, this is a real man's and woman's track. There are seasoned drivers who will be taught a lesson or two by this track. I say this, when you come to race it, come prepared, this track will challenge the driver and the car...
