  • @littlewing62 No. I attended a master class with him and he explained it. It's a 3 way switch with two volumes and one tone so that he can blend the pickups and uses a volume pedal as his master volume.

  • @ermonski Look up Steve Kimock, better clean imo. Jimmy is top shelf tone wise..

  • He looks like an older Zakk Wylde.

  • Yeah this dude seems like he should be so far out in theory world that he should have a translator with him when he tries to communicate with us peons

  • Yeah this dude seems like he belongs so far out in theory world that he shouldn't be able to communicate with us lay-people

  • @Ihateyoubillclinton those are duncan 59' reissue humbuckers, but he uses some loller imperial humbuckers in his new white strat

  • @ermonski It looks like Fender got some Jazzmaster pickups and put them on a Strat. That was a really good idea, the tone is phenomenal.

  • Jimmy brings an improtant lesson here. If you want to play guitar brilliantly, there's no alternative to hard work, learning theory, scales and chords. Once you've done that you can play what you want, not the usual blues pentatonics. No mystery just damned hard work!

  • whoa, check out the phantom slide work at 3:14. how the hell does he do that?
