  • i love your marshall amp!! Original?

  • Very nice!

  • @Guitarpointsound why would you do that :(

  • The thin sound has to come from not jumpering the channels, unless modded which I feel is unlikely for an older Marshall. I own one and its AMAZING but super loud and the channels pretty much have to be jumpered for best sound. Channel II gives the compression and bass whereas channel I is your treble/mids thing going on. These amps sound amazing clean, before they break up with either humbuckers or single coils but a Strat with Texas specials through my Handwired Plexi sounds killer

  • the distortion in my opinion sounds bad...thin...love the clean though...my guess is its the amp and pedal

  • @LesterPaul01 Edward played Les Pauls early on.

  • lucky

  • @LesterPaul01 Oh, haha! For a full refin it cost’s about 500 dollars.

  • @huzza18 a couple of years ago, people liked clean guitars and would have their oldies refinished,

  • @PBANDSNOW I meant it in a funny way, like Jimmy can afford to refinish his guitar. I wonder how costly it is refinish a Les paul? Rock on

  • @LesterPaul01 Of course I'm taking about Jimmy Page...I said Jimmy Page ;)

  • @PBANDSNOW Your talking about Jimmy Page. He's the tone god.

  • Playing van halen tainted riffs on a 58' original. That's like throwing a pickle in a chocolate shake! To each his own to play his own.Rock on!

  • lol, Jimmy Page's guitar could be refinished 1000 times and it will be worth more money than an all original unrefinished '59.

  • yeeeeaaaa....you probably shouldn't have refinished that guitar man

  • Nicely played. Good axe and amp. Clarity is sensational on the guitar, thanks for bringing that out.

  • Page had a black beauty Les Paul back in his session days.

  • Joe Walsh was the one who insisted that Page buy the cherry Les Paul. Joe didn't like the finish before or after he had it refinished. So Jimmy bought the guitar from Joe because of the shallow neck on it.

  • @1954telecaster I like to think so ;)

  • @PBANDSNOW -that's contrary to what i've heard but you sound like quite an obsessive fan so i'll take your word for it....

  • @1954telecaster First thing. Yes, Jimmy Page did have both #1 and #2 refinished. It's been mentioned several times, most notably in a 1991 issue of gutiar player magazine, it had been refinished a few months before he aquired it.

He does play it one stage. He plays both on stage. The only reissue Page has used on stage in the last 20 years was his black beauty used at the 02 show.

If you wanna tango, go ahead, but you don't know what your talking about.

  • @PBANDSNOW -jimmy page DID NOT have his #1 refinished, are you shittin me, he doesn't even play it on stage...that's a reissue.

  • This guy is an excellent player !

  • @GianlucaMazzarolo Yeah that's it. All those small things matter and all togehter form the sound of an instrument. Spectators probably won't hear or see any differences ,but to my ears those details are just essential to find the sound I'm most comfortable with. greets !
