Extra: Mapping the human brain

Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen says the goal of The Allen Brain Institute is to map the brain and find cures for diseases such as Alzheimer's.

Glad that's over with. Why not just write the guy a letter...on paper...invest in a stamp and send it off?

Note to CBS: I pay absolutely no attention to 30 second commercials welded to the front of 90 second video clips. It's annoying.

Note to Mr. Allen as well (should he ever be bored enough to watch his own interviews on Youtube)-The Brain Institute is a stellar idea. If you need a human guinea pig, I have cranial wiring issues that no doc has figured out yet. Care to take a swing at it? :D

Note to people out there who find this letter crazy or who are a bit crazy themselves, I'm just a regular person trying to find a place or a connection with another person in this world of ours. Yes, it's a little outlandish to write a famous person on You Tube but u can't just view u have to take action because nothing comes out of nothing. and who knows what could come out of a letter like this (hope nothing bad though it is easy to forget this is the world wide web!) I still really like to eat. But have been more stressed than usual lately and ate a chocolate parfait tonight ... you gotta pay when you play. Well Mr. Allen, I leave this long letter up to fate. In any case, I think you do wonderful things in your life, and I feel terrible you have gone through so many hardships. If you ever need a friend and don't mind about the economic division in frienship, it would be so cool to talk someday, instead of me doing all the talking (writing)

Well, it's super late and all the Y pools are closed for cleaning around here so I have to get up early and swim in the COLD pool at the Touhy YMCA - family membership. I know rich persons are always paranoid about money and I'm sure people are always after you for it, but since most of it's given away anyway, you can now be considered a regular guy with amazing interests. Love a man with a great brain, imagination and who likes to play music to boot. I'm sure there are things about each of us that we wouldn't like but man, there's already a lot that I do like and I don't even know you. Part of the problem of becoming famous, I guess you get tons of people

Oh yeah, LOVE it, lol, that you are looking or listening rather for aliens, I mean Mr. Paul Allen you are just too cool! Wish I could have met you in high school or right after. I'm 52 by the way, and yes still single as well. Not a blonde bombshell by any means ... lost 100 lbs so my body although in shape is pretty much a reck, lol. One of my sons is a robotics engineer, the other is a super great guy who LOVES basketball, both grown and as we all are struggling in this ecomony.

Texas Hold 'em, but don't like to play for money, and like tournaments rather than betting. A little money is okay but not too much, takes away from the game. I don't get to play anymore, too much work all the time, so have played twice this year, lol. So your an inventive guy and if you do want to talk you will certainly have the means to track me down, all you have to do is go to my website. Okay, so the chances are a billion to 1 but the 1 still exists. I'm an optimist try hard to be.

I just find it fasinating that someone else besides me likes so many different things ... Hey what about the movie ... Guess, I know you'll get it ..." So I stick this out there and put this to you .. if you ever have time and you need to say hey to someone, have a chat about cool stuff ... reading about Albert Einstein right now ... The Quantum 10, I have no idea if we would get along even though we have the same interests but the likelyhood that I would ever meet anyone else like you in the grocery store or any place else well, we both know the chances are pretty astonomical.

but it was in the background. Ater hearing some of the things, it really caught my attention when I heard about the guitar playing and then the brain research. I like to go out and dance around but I've become more of a loner I guess because I can't seem to find anyone who has interests and wants to check out stuff.  I know it's a crazy long shot, You Tube? seriously, you'll probably never read this but hey, what the heck, everything is worth a try right?
