Its always good to sleep beside them and have safety locks. Its sad how many stories that continue to come up like kids being left in cars, are lost when a parent is napping, are dissapears while playing out alone when they should have been watched by an adult not there sibblings. I understand kids go out and play with there sisters and brother thats normal but check on them from time to time if they are small you should be watching always.

I lock my son in i have the couch pushed againt our patio door because he likes to climb, i also have the bolt lock which he can reach but i put the chain on the one were its hard for someone from the outside to bust into. Id never forgive my self if i allowed him to be able to get out and i was sleep are not paying attention at the time. I feel these things are possible but after awhile you have to continue to check on your child if they are at that age were they wonder.
