  • PC's run in progressive scan dipshit

  • GodlessMartyr666 thinks pc's are running interlaced haha

  • nontheless it looks fuckin awesome i'd rather have an HDTV running a 16:10 image on its native 16:9 than try running a 16:9 console game on a 16:10 native HD monitor. UNLESS the scaler is good ( EG the samsung syncmaster T220, which i own ) the scaler can literally define whether the monitor will be able to handle images properly. The t220 has advanced scaler technology not to mention a 20000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 2ms response time. Fuckin epic man. scaling on a t220 to 1080p works.

  • The game is running in a native 1080p resolution, its ment to be played on HDTV.

  • 1080p is the NATIVE PIXEL RESOLUTION , yes. 16:9 is the NATIVE ASPECT RATIO FORMAT.... learn about widescreen formats dumbnuts...

  • This HDTV is 1080p, that's not interlaced!

The DX10 Game is redering 1920x1080, on a sqarepixel sreen, so you get a 16.9 image, no cropping or what so ever!

  • Errr.. Any Enthusiast level Nvidia card (8800GTS and up) has built in scalers. so if the panels scaler sucks you can get your GFX card to do it for you. does 1:1 ratio full screen fill and split screen.

I see a logi momo racing peeking out from the left.

  • conducís re mal loco!!

  • YES, BUT A COMPUTER CAN ONLY DISPLAY 16:10 it cannot scale to 16:9

  • yes it is 1080p. on HDTV. But it is a computer game. He is running a computer to play the game. PC's are only capable of 1080i as progressive scan is not used by windows whatsoever. The RATIO is 16:10 for computer games and he is using a 16:9 screen ( THE HDTV ). do you understand yet or do i need to divulge into further detail....?
