Measured take off and demonstration of the STOL CH 701. The 701 "Sky Jeep" is a two-seat light sport utility plane, equipped with fixed wing leading edge slats. This is a 100-hp Rotax 912S equipped kit plane. Demonstrated by Christopher Desmond of STOL-Adventures.com fame.

  • That prop looks huge on a 701. Anyways that was short ;-)

  • how much r one of these and what skill level is needed to pilot one. it looks unsafe.

  • @N444HM Mais tout de meme c;est un bon boulot et ca il faut le reconnaitre. Barvo pour le pilote!

  • maybe the nose wheel was off but the main gear is what counts...it was about 92 feet...

  • Any of these planes with fixed slots at the wing's leading edge will perform great.

    Good demonstration : )

  • that rotax has such a recognizable sound

  • do you need a licence to fly these also where can you buy them from

  • pffft! Without the headwind, the takeoff roll would have been at least 95 feet.

  • i wonder how much shorter it can get with turbo wing :)

  • @SteveCessna152 r u stupid
