World leaders agree: we're in the midst of the most profound economic emergency since the Great Depression.

But what do Lawrence Springborg and the Nationals think?

  • This knucklehead is now the Shadow Attorney-General. What? Springborg should be a backbencher. Seems like the LNP prefer to remain in opposition.

  • are you dumb? i have just holidayed in Qland and all your papers read " Queensland tourism industry hit hard due to global financial crisis" Wake up to yourself buddy. Its all over your news how Qland relies on its tourism industry and with no one being able to afford holidays, people are loosing there jobs by the thousands

  • The best thing about this ad is that Springborg has only himself to blame for it. He could have said something sensible like "We all need a plan to deal with the Global Financial Crisis and its effects on Queensland, and I believe mine will be better. Here it is." Instead, he chose a form of words that made him look like a complete moron, thus enabling the ALP to make the ad. . .

  • What an absurd comparison. Gordon Brown and Barack Obama manage economies that ARE in recession. Queensland is not.

  • i laughed so freaking hard at this when i first saw it

  • Labour girl through and through and can't for the life of me see how on the one hand Labor has spent too much money and on the other hand, he's going to spend more! History repeats itself always, with Labour ... both state and Federal ... having to undo damage done by Liberal/National/Coalition parties.

  • A powerful message! Springborg cannot deny having said those ignorant things because we saw the evidence. He is an ignorant negative man. He only ever has negative things to say. Anna is strong and her messages are relevent and positive. Labor for a continuing strong Queensland in these tough times!

  • Triple hypocrisy: Lawrence stands tough on drugs but it sounds like he's been smoking something.

Colour show - I'm Labor through and through. But as an informed voter I'd like to see one LNP policy that would pass a treasury analysis with a green light.

Where's your policies, Mr Spring"board" ?(yes, I spelt it that way intentionally).

Flip flop away at any time LOL!

  • good one Springborg give up your clue less and a sham. Go Anna Go

  • It is not a depression Springborg lives in fairy land

he has no policy principals or plan and if he gets in we are all in trouble. the world powers have said it buckle down and let Anna get us through she can do it.
