@StarlightMassacre Than they may break and the cooler will fall down ?:P
-
why don't you just cut the screws to be shorter?
-
@StarlightMassacre Well :P, I can place my gtx285 on top , under that xfi sound card and under that 9500gt for physx , Now i have to chooose to place soundcard or gpu, I can place both of them but the screws that are holding the fan of the 9500gt come too much up , so if i could make a whole in the soundcard it would fit , u see what I mean now ? ;p

-
@StarlightMassacre yea thats what i would do, but at my dads pc i installed xfi soundcard and i had to remove the 9500gt for physx cut there were some things to attach the fan at :P that where sticking out :s

yea, it depends on the mother board. some of the PCI-E slots are 8x some are 4x and some are 16x. the the 16x performs the best and its where your graphics should be for the best performance, but 8x is pretty good also, you prolly wont notice the diff.

hey mate , nice pc..
can u place any video card on any motherboard in the 2nd or third pci slot ? so i could fit a soundcard above the first slot , cus if i did place a videocard it wouldnt fit . u see what i mean ?thanks

with the Asus Deluxe V2, were you able to install 12 gigs of Corsair ram, or equivalent?

I'm pretty sure it supports up to 24 gigs of DDR3 RAM, and you can overclock them to 2000Mhz.

dude i love the cpu cooler...does it perform well?
and also my next pc im building is gonna be a monster. just the tower alone is going to be $2500 and that not including the graphics cards (waiting for Nvidia to bring fermi at end of march)
still going to just use one 24 inch screen for gaming, thats just how i like it and is a good size and resolution, and will also have 2 seperate 21.5inch screens for multi tasking.

yeah the H50 is great, it wont perform as well as traditional water cooling but it does a much better job then air cooling. i have my i7 920 OC to 4ghz 24/7 and it keeps it cool all the time, when i do max load tests on the CPU it doesn't go over 75c, i think up to 85c or so is the safe operating temp for the i7.
and yeah my monitors are pretty old and they are only 1680x1050, thinking of getting a 3rd monitor and using these 2 for multi tasking.
