A concert I will NEVER forget! All the celebrities in attendance, such as Kim Fields, El DeBarge to name a few. It was a night of true blessing!

@SparkMyWorld Now just minute. Tramaine Hawkins was singing with the Edwin Hawkins choir in the late 1960's. Whitney Houston followed her.
-
@evnglst Definitely. If anyone has a doubt listen to Tramaine's "Look At Me" the vocals are ridiculously similar to WH's early pop songs. Tramaine had to be a huge influence on Ms. Houston, especially in their use of falsetto.

@cyndycyndycyndy Yep...this was the concert that featured Carlos Santana on her song "Lift Him Up". The name of the recording (and subsequent live concert tape) was Tramaine Hawkins Live (1990). Loved it all!

Do not EVER delete this video!!!! So good.

What I love about this video is the sound balance! You can hear Tramaine very well over the choir and the musicians aren't to loud! It's perfect!

Remember theres a reason artist move to "inspirational" and "message" music. There's more money to make the closer you get to pop music....
