walking down memory lane again...

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfFVegPuAD0

I had a little slip in the last video where 21, Jumpstreet (1987) was put into the 1980-84 vid. As exchange Knight Rider (1982), just because I couldn't think of anything else ( ^_^ ), is stuffed into here. So no mistake on my side.

Quantum Leap and Knight Rider had to be replaced due to the studios not liking free advert for there shows.
The Covers for both were done by Sylvain Cloux ( http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=ClouxCloux )

  • Hey Vincent,

I must admit, barring cartoons and the odd documentary or cult show (Lost, Doctor Who etc) I don't really watch a great deal of T.V. Still, I think it's a medium that has demonstrated in the past that it has great potential when allowed to. It's just sad that it's so much in sway to the dictates of what is considered "popular" (even when there is evident appettite amongst viewers for something stranger). 5*

  • nowadays I'm the same. maybe 5-6 hours a week.

It's all about money today. To let a "not so popular" show running you'll need backing from someone high up in the station. WCW (wrestling) comes to mind. Ted Turner liked it so it keeped running despite the poor ratings.

On the other side one can only wunder how some of the shows even made it past the pilot.

It's hard not being on the "popular" side ^^ - Vince

  • @2psah: There's a guy on here with a channel that covred most of the 80s TV-series soundtracks, got him in my friends list... he calls himself: ClouxCloux

  • Dude, The only role I remember Richard Tyson from was as the Villianous Cullen Crisp in Arnold Schwarzenegger's "Kindergarten Cop"

The theme tunes are not in the show. I had to exchange it because the studios complained. This version was done by Sylvain Cloux ( profile?user=ClouxCloux ).

  • good job
