the Shadowrun for Xbox and Windows was amazing, regardless of its bad reviews (A columnist of Gameinformer even said it was "Micro soft's experiment gone wrong" it became a cult classic, my team played the shit out of it. so I disagree with what Ed said, however maybe they should have named it something else

Nice review. This is one of my favorite games of all time (the SNES version). I've played through it several times. It's really addictive as you said. I tried the Genesis version and just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it another try sometime though since I didn't really play it for that long.

I love both Shadowrun games. I played the SNES version first and I was hooked. Then I played the genesis and didn't like it.

HOWEVER, after going back to GEN I gave it a chance and now prefer it, weird right? I switched because the GEN feels more like the PnP game than SNES does.

I actually didn't care for this review. Though you DID mention the Sega Mega-CD and you also bashed the x360 Shadowrun (which I agree, sucked), you hardly touched on the Sega~Shadowrun which was inarguably superior to the SNES version. You spent more time on your intro video and overly long-winded explanation of the original pen/paper game than you did on any kind of decisive reviewing at all. The "shortness" of the SMD version is because it's a SANDBOX game, one of the first, unlike the SNES.

I can see where your coming from. But all I'm trying to say is that its a very underrated FPS.

@Ladude5 - If you have played the other Shadowrun games, you'll notice so much stuff that've done wrong that you'll just hate it. Shadowrun on PC and Xbox 360 isn't very fun at all (I own it) but the main issue is the things they've changed around in it. So to say.

Don't judge the new shadowrun because its different from the franchise. Judge the game on its own terms. In my opinion, its one if the most balanced online FPS around.

The SEGA version was different, though also great.
