Time to show you good people how this vintage bike sounds with the SuperTrapp performance exhaust system. The bike starts on the first kick, probably because it was 75F outside, but sometimes she can be stubborn. And it's a kick-start, the way a REAL bike should be! None of this lazy electric-start nonsense! Enjoy once again, and crank up your speakers! Thanks!

  • wots the top end on that because i have a 1982 one and it does 65 mph and just wonderin if i can get it to go any faster

  • Only once I burried the throttle, and I was going 60mph. Although, it's reving pretty hard. I usually keep it arround 45mph when I'm cruising up and down the back roads.

  • Where do u get your parts? im buying a Honda XL 125 1974...where can i get some good parts?

  • Very hard to find parts, although I have had great luck with my local Honda dealership. As for the SuperTrapp exhaust, the "Universal" muffler hasen't changed in many years and would still fit on your bike.

  • hey does this supertrapp exhaust make a differense in power

  • Yes, the increase in low-end torque and high-end horsepower is quite remarkable even though this bike is only a 125cc, well, a 138cc actually because of the big-bore kit. The exhaust is what sets this bike from other 125cc's.

  • Thats the bike i might be getting. Not for roads just 4 riding around! If i have enough money :/

  • Nice bike, my 1978 XL 75 looks exactly like that, just I bit smaller lol

  • good thing you got the loud exhaust. it almost blocks out the sound of the camchain sawing through your engine!!!!

  • Thanks for the video I am curious about that muffler getting hot enough to

burn your leg I know the heade pipe gets hot does the supertrapp get hot

    enough to burn you?

  • The exhaust sounds too hollow for me, As if it needs some baffle inside it.

  • 67MPH wanted to go more....1978 XL 125

  • @whiteyboy313 change your rear sprocket to a smaller one or upsize the front one. you will loose some lower power but have faster highway speed

  • love the bike! i have 1984 xl125. Just out of curiosity how much was your exhaust? i want one for my bike as its kinda rusty and alot of welds around it. Cant seem to find a decent standard one.

  • I love these old little Hondas. I have a 1974 CB125S that I am restoring. It is solid and the engine fires up first time and sounds beautiful.
