This is a short demo of a coin Operated PC build we did for a customer who operates a coin laundry/cafe. He was very interested about a coin-op PC after seeing it in a magazine. At the moment we don't have anything installed on the PC except Deep Freeze, but there will be games and the computer will be equiped with a gamepad.

Jafferson Computers is a located in Ypsilanti, Michigan and we specializes in PC and Laptop repair and servicing. We also build and maintain custom computers for business or gaming. Our software center specializes in web design and SEO. We can also build custom business programs and iPhone apps.

  • What for PS3s?

  • @0568921 This coinbox could be used for a PS3 if the controllers were USB only. You would just loose control when your time ran out and would have to put coins in to regain access to the controller.

  • are you interested in using software as a timer instead of relays we have it here in the phils...

  • @jinglenene1000 We had experimented a bit with using software as a timer, but our client decided that he would rather just use the hardware to control the time.

  • haha thanks for using my song for the intro :D

  • @DJOpaixMusic Glad you didn't mind that we used it. Good song!

  • wooow pretty neat ! I wanna build something like this, but how did you make the black box ?

  • should install a timer.

  • good job man!! i was thinking on what to use, if to cut the power of the monitor or control the usb power of the devices, well i got to say that is more expensive replace a monitor than replace a mouse and keyboard, so i am going for the usb one. :)

  • @JaffersonComp well if you want a peek of the timer just visit pcevo.com or see video at youtube this link (youtube.com/watch?v=W6GisDjJGZc) (PowerPC Multimedia System - Internet Demo )
