(26) Car Cam: Power Failure at Intersection / Aggressive Driving

Observation(s):
- Goodwood Road, aggressive red car driver
- Power failure, lights out on Greenhill road (we only enter one set - but they all seem to be out along this road from this point on)

Conditions: Ridiculously hot still between 40C-46C degrees

Date/Time: Friday, 30 Jan 2009, 1900 to 1930

What: Driving Diary (12 month experimental project)

Where: South Australia

Why: To record 12 months of my life driving, and in the process reflect on my own driving behaviour and to possibly highlight how other ppl's behaviours can impact negatively on us. Accidents can be so easily avoided.

Sound: I only keep one CD in the car and change that weekly, so there will be some repetition. GPS also makes a few sounds and audible directions.

This is for educational (not punitive) purposes, it is my belief that citizens shouldn't police other citizens.

Maybe the black car had to turn right soon....., if he crosses the intersection slowly and then accelerates...unless he blasted through the intersection, which would be quite dangerous

Imagine if all cars had cameras like this and the data was instantly streamed to local authorities, filtered by a computer that could identify aggressive driving...

...more people would drive carefully.
