Just to stay sane I have to keep holding out for a return. If it were to be promoted right, it could be the most kick ass comeback in history. I think the most recent bit of news from McShane was around 2011, and he said to "never say never." When you have the leading man and the showrunner remaining at least open to the idea of a revival, it's a better chance than nothing. God dammit, why must the good die young? COCKSUCKAHS!

McShane said that it was about 50/50 for the show being picked back up. But that was years ago. Let's face it Deadwood just wasen't that popular. Most great things aren't popular their first go a round. An ultra violent show about the west that had writing that would have had The Bard wondering what was going on sometime. People just werent ready for it back then. But it is hands down the greatest thing to EVER air on the idiot box. Then and now.
