It must have been one of the last 85/0's in service as by this time a majority of 85's were the specially converted 85/1's. Superb video mate! Nothing like the sound of a roaring British AC electric! =-D
Love the ticking noise they make as they are standing still - like a grandfather clock. And that roar. Makes you realise just how bland trains are today.
Good news. The preserved 85101 (formerly 85006) with the AC loco group is nearly in running condition again. We may still hear a roarer in action again somewhere in the not too distant future!
This brings back happy memories of Birmingham New Street and Crewe in the 80's
