i can understand that you don't like her much from seeing this video, and i think she's gone a bit loopy with her rock band thing and her image for the mass markets, but you should hear some of her old stuff, and you'd find that she is a damn fine fiddler. i've heard a lot of fiddlers, and am a fiddler myself, and i can say without hesitation that she is the my favourite fiddle player, and there is definitely no other cape breton fiddler, dead or alive, better than her. its undeniable.

@goethethegreat Haha the pants are pretty terrible aren't they.... Natalie's family, as well as Ashley MacIsaac. When I was a kid and lived near them it was really inspiring just to have family around for a kitchen party - the very young and very old picking up instruments and connecting with each other in sort of a jam session... I miss that so much! :( I think I'm gonna need to get a new fiddle soon, it's been a while!

The pants are bad, but she's soo talented. She doesn't just sit in chair and play. I think it's visually stimualed. I guess some people can't handle it.

Even if you don't care for the dance or the pants.. the music is BRILLIANT, for sure.. Very good group.
And Stacy Grubb is going to be HUGE.. I've been a fan since day one!
