From the dialogue:Krishnamurti: Are you aware of your unconscious? Do you know if you have an unconscious that is operating differently, or trying to give you hints, you know, all that, are you aware of all that?Shainberg: Yes. I am aware of an aspect of myself. I look at it a little differently: I look at it that there is an aspect of myself that is aware incompletely. That is what I call the unconscious. It is aware of my experience, or aware of the events in an incomplete way....Now it uses symbols and different modes of telling, of understanding, in other words a dream where I am discovering jealousy - in the dream - right? - that I wasn't aware of.
