At the restaurant, Demi noticed that something was going on with Selena. By now Selena would be dogging down the breadsticks and asking for her 3rd basket. But instead, she was just sitting there, chomping on the same breadstick for at least 5 minutes.
"Sel," Demi snapped. "Eat the damn breadstick already!" Selena frowned, taking the breadstick out of her mouth. "But I'm savoring it," was her reply.
"Savoring it, my ass," Demi responded rolling her charcoal tinted eyes. "Now what's going on with you" Selena sighed, placing the breadstick on her plate. "I just feel really bad about what happened last night," she said sadly. "I mean, yeah it was one of the best nights of my life but knowing that I cheated on David with one of his closest friends makes me feel very guilty."
"So..I'm guessing you really did sleep with Nick yesterday," said Demi, shock growing inside of her system. Selena nodded slowly, looking onto her empty plate. "Holy fucking guacamole!" Demi screeched, earning stares from the other people in the restaurant.
Selena reached over the table and covered Demi's mouth as fast as she could before anyone started asking questions. "Just shut your mouth and you won't get hurt," she hissed. Demi nodded, removing Selena's hand from her face.
"So...was he good?" Demi wondered, smirking. Selena glared at her. "You're a whore." Demi laughed, taking a sip of water. "What? We all knew Nick was a slut in high school but we would never try him out. And now that you did, I'm interested."
Selena shook her head, chuckling a bit. "Yes, Demetria he was excellent."
Demi banged her fist against the table making the table shake a bit. "I fucking new it!" she yelled earning glares from the people around them. "If you want something to look at then look at your partner's crotch, not me!" Demi said, rolling her eyes. "People are so immature these days."
Trying to hide her laugh, Selena covered her mouth making her usual tanned skin turn into a crimson red. "I friggin' love you," she half said-half giggled.
"Who doesn't love me?" Demi replied, throwing a lock of her hair back. "But seriously...maybe this whole thing about you being guilty is a sign that you and Nick shouldn't have done anything."
Sighing, Selena scratched the back of her neck. "Maybe...but it's like Nick and I have this crazy connection...I can't decide." Demi nodded, feeling bad for her friend. It wasn't often that boys made Selena's life crazy. She would normally just pick one and move on with her life.
"But, I mean, is it fair to David?" Selena burried her head into her hands, groaning. "Looks like I have to break someones heart," she said.

Once they got back home, Selena took off her heels and marched right into the kitchen for a glass of water. "Nice dress," said Nick, startling Selena making her bump her head on one of the cupboards. "Thanks for that," she snapped.
Nick only smiled, making Selena's stomach churn. "Brought me a doggy bag?" he asked her, taking a bite of the brownie he was eating. Selena sighed, taking a seat next to Nick. "I have to tell you something," she said biting her lip.
Noticing the seriousness of her expression, Nick knew this wouldn't be such a dandy thing. "Should I be afraid?"
Taking a deep breath, Selena looked straight into Nick's chocolate colored marbles. "What happened last night...it was a total mistake and I'm starting to regret it," she said, showing no emotion whatsoever.
