Film for the Lenten - Easter season.Jean and I made this short film in 1957 on 16 mm film with a homemade animation stand. The pictures were painted by James J. Tissot in 1886-92, he went to palestine and lived there to study the locations, clothes and people. These paintings have been exhibited all over the United States, and much of Europe.Jean Ritchie wrote the words and musi to tell the story.George did the filming and put it all together.
