Goliath groupers, or Jewfish, are the largest groupers growing upwards of 800 lbs. You'll need better than laptop speakers: at the end you can hear the grouper boom, or "bark", and see his side compress as he makes the sound.

You are 34 years old and write like that? Be careful...the pointy-end points forward. Don't want you to accidentally shoot yourself.

  • This is a big fish to catch, but it's illegal to shoot them though. Can't believe that these fish are preyed by barrasuda's, moray eels and large sharks. They're huge to be preyed upon. :)

  • uhm excuse me people, any grouper that excedes 200-250 lbs contains worms and is in ill shape, so if you want to eat it have fun with paracites and so much more problems. never go large, go right!

  • man i want to eat that fat motherfucker!

  • @sasha1663 llol shoot urself

  • @MrAmAzInGbOy89 They are endangered due to overfishing and habitat loss

  • @stefcam123 why it's illegal???

  • @anythingbutcommon

Ah, thats how it was called when I first knew their name in english. Then they changed it for Goliath grouper for political correctness, which I find very silly. I dont know why would be offensive for jews to have their name in such wonderful animal. Unless it is for some historical background I dont know. I wonder if one day they will have to change the name of the Black Sea Bass for "African american sea bass". I would not be surprised.
