  • Love Pacino, but in these scenes.... Pacino who? Brando owns every scene he was in.

  • Vito Corleone suffered a very peaceful death; playing with his grandson in the garden and simply having a heart attack and die. Compared to the other ways, and numerous time his life was in jeopardy while throughout his childhood and running the mafia.

  • what was it a hart attack or somebody gave him something

  • 1:20 so brilliant how brando doesn't really react to that funny papers line, he instantly goes into another subject.

  • 2:01 The answer to what Michael in his sharp Prime asks, the veteran Don could tell Michael and he will find out in the last scenes, after he lost his daughter. But he's too young to understand. The Don is above mundane temporary worries that he gets repetitive about but knows are routine. The bigger picture he deeply wished for his family and Michael, "the one most like him every day". They refused and pulled the strings behind those "in Power", but nobody holds the strings of Time.

  • Thanks for posting. Powerful scene.

  • @GazmoSin1960s pacino does a great job, just his character isn't as outwardly interesting..quiet intelligence.

  • You should have posted Vito Corleone's death, Marlon Brando died 31 years later after the Padrino opened in 1971.
