I just realised, those nifty scratch marks in your 'vision' have become a staple of modern 3D shooters...
This game came too early! Imagine this on the new source engine? Or in the Oblivion engine?!

Not even modern games have such good sound effects than in this game, or musics. Espcially musics.

Well...it would lose it's "ballance" of gameplay cause of the too good engine.

Considering you can find the skeletal remains of the ones who die, probably yes!
I guess the programers thought MIA was a bit more creepy, like "we're not sure what happened to those guys".
