honestly electrum zephyr aphex twin started IDM and turned edm into something that is actully listenable to the people that hate mainstream shit...so if you can do that hes on the level of mozart or bach 2 me and i would consider them gods

Some people might have misconstrued what I said about making music like Aphex Twin. 1) I just want to make music in this genre. 2) I'm probably committing fandom heresy by saying this, but Aphex Twin is not God. I love his music as much as the next guy, but some of you (I won't name names) are taking it WAY too seriously. Chill out with that.
And don't move the goalposts and bitch about how "I should have been more lucid". Most of you are grown-ups. You know how to apply critical thinking.
