Nice session! The tone of the X3 is directily in line or plugged in a box and recorded by the cam mic?? I´m to buy this unit, but I´m afraid of people complaining about the sound losing quality when plugged into an amp. TKZ

The X3 is directly plugged in the mixer. I also think this unit is better in simulation than in a real amp. I don't say it is not good enough, just that I prefer real pedals in an amp. Yet this preamp is really versatile and has a lot of potential.

But I personally find this to work best plugged in a mixer.

For instance, Digitech pedals works best in these two "worlds".
