I replaced the 17 year old Flowmaster muffler and tail pipes with a new one. I expected to put more then the 2000 miles on the old exhaust system before it rusted out. Flow Master owns me a new system.

  • what do you idle at? like 900 rpm or what?

  • When the engine warms up, it does idle at 900 rpm. The car was sitting for many weeks, before I started it up.

  • I actually just recently bought a flowmaster. which model did you have that rusted out?

  • I am not sure of the series, but it has the single cross over muffler.

  • Sounds like someone Might Need A New Spark Plug Pretty soon.... Other than that sounds great!

  • Sounds great, but those 80s tips have to go. They stick out too far

  • A 'trunk' in a camaro is actually where you put te corpses in, right?

  • DAMN!!

  • if you only go on short trips and do not give engine time to get up to temp, the exhaust will not last...I do not care what brand u buy...

  • @Ratmouth66 Magnaflow is to quiet..

  • I bought my Camaro with Magnaflow and its never given me any trouble, i love Magnaflow now

  • LOVE THAT CAM! :)

  • The Camaro sounds great man! What series mufflers are you running?

  • Only 2k miles?!?! I have put well over 20k on mine, did you buy a whole exhaust kit or did you buy the flowmaster at a muffler shop and have them run custom pipes? I have found that some of those custum shops use crappy piping and when they weld in the Flowmaster they dont paint the weld spots and the rust will start there and spread.
