Back at the Eden booth, Lane Baldwin shows us the brand new WTX500 World Tour Amp. This featherweight bass amp weighs in at a petite 4.3 pounds, but despite its compactness, it blasts out 500 watts of low end.
It also boasts some impressive features like automatic voltage switching. Just plug it in to a wall and it will know what country its in and what voltage it should run, making it ultimately convenient for the international jet-setting musician.
@RICKRATT1, i use 2 d212xlt's and I must say they are great sounding cabs, I also use a d210xst cab and I have absolutely nothing bad to report about that cab as well, i think Eden's cabs are hard to beat, not so sure about the amps in my experience.

@ melodyjack, check the eden electronics forums, the guys in that forum are really very helpful, I have one and ended up using it as a preamp, it may be 500 watts as advertised, but it sure does not deliver what you would think 500 watts would, it's sounds more like 100 watts of transistor power, it is a digital amp just so you know.

i've owned the wtx500 for 9 mos, used a handful of times and the ice power went bad and burned up 2 quality 15 in. bass speakers. it has been down for 4 mos and still not fixed. when it's repaired i'm selling it asap. i'm not impressed with eden products or service.

Lane states here clearly that the amp has world voltage sensing capabilities-there seems to be some confusion -does it or not? Anyone know for sure?Anyone over at Eden know? Thanks.
