  • @iYUk1,

Yes, it is possible for the Guard to deploy to Iraq. We have many troops overseas now, but they are all very highly trained individuals!

  • is there a telephone number i can call to find my nearest actual national guard location. i live in west chester ohio. i know theres a branch in fairfield ohio but i dont know and cant find a phone number for them. thanks and god bless all troops

  • @MultiMonster69

Here is a number you can call to help get you started!

    1-800-GO-GUARD

  • @gunnut3345 -

There are many requirements to being a Soldier in the National Guard as well! Choosing between the two is definitely a matter of your personal choice and what you want with your life. If you have any questions, please click on the "Talk to a Soldier" Tab on our Channel. Good luck!

  • @Sharod101 Don't forget he can go ROTC and go 2nd Lieutenant directly.

  • hey im thinking about joining i was just wondering does the national guard deploy to Iraq??

  • What are those jousting type things that are on a pole that are lowered from the bumper that one of the soldiers lower down?

  • Cool vid. I was with the 56th IBCT that the 41st replaced.

  • 41st just got back a few months ago! i'll be going over with the 116th!!

  • @jo3man84 before you do that, talk to me. I think you'd much much rather go Reserves over Guard, or even active duty. for promotion/pay reasons, how hard you'll get worked, pension, later job opportunities, financial security (remember Guard is run by the state, Reserves is run by the nations, but in guard you get national and state benefits, where as reserves get only national benefits).

best in my opinion is going Active Duty and if you contact me i'll tell you why and give you a lot more info
