  • i want to go to her class. keeping 100 she is fine as hell.

  • @DancingRabbit52

That was very well stated. I think to love, one needs to have a tough mind and a tender heart. Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. Matthew 10:16

  • Sorry ladies if this sounds sexist. She is deep and pretty. I am glad Mrs. Lacewell was not my professor. There is no way I would be able to pay attention in class with this gorgeous women talking. Her husband is one luck dude.

  • Wonderful.

  • My God, I've been in Love with Melissa since the first time I saw her on MSNBC. She is very pretty but for some reason I'm turned on by her slight 'Listhp' when she talks. o.k. I'm sick but c'mon, there's gotta be others that agree with me Aight?

  • I associate the phrase "unconditional positive regard" with love -- in the sense one doesn't need to approve all another's actions and beliefs in order to be "for them" rather than "against them".

  • Amen, Melissa! All viewpoints should be listened to, and we can become the movement that shows other denominations how to love each other despite political differences. But I wonder why she would not want to go to church with someone with whom she disagrees. That indicates a huge problem of exclusiveness (i.e., not being all-inclusive and loving) that we UUs need to work on very badly. Am I hearing her right?

  • Understand that many (too many) in America are not taught to love in the face of adversity, but that is EXACTLY what is needed.

    Obscenities and insults in the

'00s (on both the left and right) are far less damaging than the dogs, hoses and nooses used in previous eras. Although it may be difficult (and I by no means am 100% love in my own life), it is a worthy goal to strive for. Take it day by day, issue by issue and strive to find the good in others.
