The Effect:
You borrow a ring from a spectator, then you use a normal rope or loop to tie a knot on the spectator's ring. You ask the spectator to open up their hand, you take the ring still tied with the knot and put into their hand and ask them to close it. You then pull the rope or loop slowly out of their hand, magically the rope or loop will penetrate through the ring and out of the spectator's hand.
