  • I like Shep, he gives the show personality in a funny way. But his predictions are dubious at best. As a Galaxy fan, I agree with ET. As far as I'm concerned, the Galaxy still has an wide open net. I predict Ricketts won't even be the starter for most of the season. He's really not that good....I actually miss Joe Cannon.

  • wow greg is retarded how could chivas win... so dumb

  • Kansas City is the dark horse here. Everyone is going to overlook them and they may rise up to take the West. LA is going to be shit this season. They just have too many overhauls and changes to make due to the Beckham fiasco.

  • So with that, i have:

    Real Salt Lake over Toronto

    New York over Houston

    Chicago over New England

    Columbus over Kansas City

Real Salt Lake over New York

    Chicago over Columbus

    FINALLY

    Real Salt Lake 2-1 Chicago

As a whole, like every season, there will be too much parity to guarantee a definite favorite. I am a bit concerned because we need to heal from the black eye that was this years CONCACAF Champions League. The USL DESERVE TO LAUGH AT MLS AND IT IS ESSENTIAL MLS HAS A HUGE 2009.

  • D'oh!!!...

5.(goes in between Chivas and LA)Seattle- great homefield and great leaders but still not fully complete team.

However, I really don't like any Western conference team outside of RSL and Houston because of too many question marks and way way way too much underacheivement from every one else.

Like I said in the predictions, I really am rooting for FC Dallas because of players like current U20s Marosevic, Wallace and Lambo and former youths McCarthy and Wagner

  • I go

    1. Real Salt Lake-all hail Jason Kreis!!!

    2. Houston-aging at back and Kamara never sold me

    3. FC Dallas-I'm too much of a homer because of the huge amount of youth int'ls, but surely they are "America's team"

    4. Chivas USA-this team will live breath and die on whether Kljestan goes Euro

    5. Los Angeles-David Beckham will kill any team chemistry...period

    6. San Jose-not fully sold on paper

    7. Colorado-call me when they have a striker

  • check out this cool vid from youth soccer in AZ. watch?v=RKpyWmrVnQY

  • these guys are losers

  • Prediction: Omar Gonzalez, drafted rookie defender on LA is gonna bring it on set pieces if he gets time. 6' 5"

  • im not saying im not going to support them(except when they play the red bulls, best team in the mls), i think its great that they have like 20,000 season ticket holders but the team will be bettter than KC and LA. Sounders wont be great .

  • Disappointed that San Jose was not mentioned at all for some reason. What happened there?

  • Well I'm a Fire fan, but I've been following Seattle and they've been doing well so far. They've only lost 1 game. That was all WITHOUT Ljungnberg. I just think they can carry it over to the regular season. I'll be rooting for them in the West.
