My next bow would either be a PSE or a mathews z7. Those two brands have always had great bows!

Off course if you give someone a longbow and they are only used to compound bows they wont shoot very good the first times, because its so different and they need to learn how to shoot it, even if they are good with a compound..But that goes for everything really, so whats wrong with that again? Im getting tired of people putting down other archers just because they have only tried one type and then think thats whats archery is all about..Why disrespect fellow archers like that..?
-
@Ninja7545 Why are you like that? Compound crap..? Whats so bad about technology anyway? Flint broadheads was once "new" technology remember. I like everything about archery so I enjoy shooting longbows and compound bows as much as I like making longbows and other wooden bows so why wouldnt I like shooting different styles/versions of the thing Im interrested in..Besides learning about and shooting different styles of bows has helped me out alot of times

@MathewsSolocamHunter I agree that argueing about equipment choice is silly. I think the most important thing is that people are involved in archery and enjoying it. I attended my first 3d indoor on the weekend and shot my Monster 6. I shot real well-and also used the HHA single pin sight. That was new for me as I never shot with a slider before. I am looking forward to shooting 3ds with my OMEN. I get 332 fps as set up. My Monster is 312 and my Drenalin is 280fps.

@dougk5 Now that's weird a Mathews and a PSE shooter I would be getting so much crap if I would shoot both! But the Z7 would be a great bow, by far its my favorite bow ever! I have shot Hoyt, PSE, Bear, and Mathews, but the Z7 has to be the smoothest and quietest of them all but the Hoyt Carbon Matrix is up there with it! Do whatever you want just remember bows are like vehicles once you buy one thee will be a newer one out in a couple months

@MathewsSolocamHunter Mathews used to argue in their ANNUAL that split limb designs had NO ADVANTAGE but now they offer it. dont get me wrong-I really dont care that Mathews has adopted PSE limb technology. I have a MONSTER 6 and a PSE OMEN. I also have a Drenalin as well. Might upgrade the Drenalin to a Z7 or a PSE etc...
-
@dougk5 Its a slit limb design because with the type of cam it has it needs a larger pocket so the cam wouldn't hit the limbs. Thus if it wasn't a split limb, the single limb would break because of the amount of room needed to make a full cycle!
-
@MathewsSolocamHunter who ever said the Monster cam was ever the same as the XFORCE hybrid cam? its a totally different design. You make stuff up! Now, take a look at the limb profile on the Monster and that its a split limb design..like..hmm....where I seen that before? thinking...gee a PSE XFORCE!

Mathews Monster is by far better than all of those bows and it shoots faster!! Also before you comment on this about the monster. I asked MATHEWSINC when they had made the Monster cams and if they copied they sent me.... "No not at all. We did introduce our Monster cam and had it designed and patented well before them. It is our own design." So you PSE lovers got any comments on that.. Comment on it!
*cough* Hoyt lol
