  • Of all the things I fold during the year I give away at least half. I like to keep some samples. I also discard many things, when the paper looks too tired and old. What I keep, is stored in plastic bins. If you visit my site, Origami Spirit, and do a search for "Finished Origami Models" you will find a blog post I wrote about it on May of 2011. Sorry Youtube won't let me place a direct link here.

  • love it, Love It, LOVE IT!!! How timely, too! I really should do something like that this year. How many hours a week do you spend on origami, just on average? It looks like a LOT!

  • @DMSTinMO I'd love if you make a video like this, of your own work space, and we compare notes at the end of the year!

I don't know how many hours a week I spend on origami... I should count. I'm always folding, photographing or writing about it. It seems like origami took over... at least one or two tables of my studio. I let it!!

  • That was fun to watch! Is the journal that appears intermittently an origami journal?

  • @lottruminates The journal that appears in this video is about my daily life. Since origami is so prominent in my daily life, I do write about it a lot in that journal, but not exclusively.

  • @OrigamiSpirit Thank you for the insights and also for the link to your blog post. Your blog is beautiful and full of fun and useful info--thanks!

  • Thank you for sharing! It's fun to see all of the beautiful things you've folded over last year. What do you do with everything you fold--how much do you give away vs. keep? And of what you keep, how do you store it?

  • awesome!! Precioso, Leyla!

  • Cool. I've kept a journal for many years, so I'm always interested when I discover someone else who does. Thanks for the videos!
