IQ2US marks the launch of Oxford-style debating -- one motion, one moderator, three advocates for the motion, three against -- in New York City. Each evening begins at 6:00P with a complimentary cocktail period. As you enter the theater before the debate starts at 6:45P, you cast your vote for or against the evening's motion. Those results are displayed midway through the debate as each side makes its statements. After all six panelists speak, the audience has a chance to ask the speakers questions and vote again. The debate finishes with brief summations from the panelists, the votes are tallied and a winning side is declared.

to the last chick. the reason people assimilated into society was because america's identity wasn't defined yet. the immigration of 1900's was entirely different from the illegal immigration of today. today immigrants are too proud of their heritage to care to assimilate. they assume the role that america owes them. the early immigrants assumed they were blessed to be given such an opportunity, its apples and oranges you dumb ass.

To the lady at the end. Our laws do make sense they just need to be enforced on immigration even if that means being MEAN. being human and being stupid are 2 different things. We are being stupid right now on illegal aliens. We the American citizens determine our immigration laws. Not special ethnic groups or illegals who do not even belong here in the first place.
