  • The 1225 is my favorite locomotive ever. And I found picture on ebay a couple months ago (sadly I lost the bid) of the PM 1225 and NKP 779 doubleheading in 1945 in Northern (I think Toledo) Ohio. And the 1225 and 765 did doublehead for a fall color tour a year ago.

  • this was the model for the polar express. it was saved from the scrap yards of Michigan in the 1950's by a man who liked its unique calling numbers 1225. it was completely restored to working order around 1983 or so. it is in a rail museum in Michigan and still runs excursions to this date. it is also listed as the largest working steam engine in Michigan as well as being listed with the historical society. This engine transported billions of tons of steel during the war

  • You did keep the orange module that came with this engine and the 765 right because those go in the remote and that way you can use the Berkshire features watch my Module information video

  • I'd like to see you double head both the Berks with 765 in there too. I've been waiting a long time for Lionel to make a Legacy NKP Berk with the new whistle feature. Nothing beats 765's whistle! I'm a big time C&O fan too and i like the piggy back cars. I got a couple questions for you. What is the built date and/or the rebuilt date on just the C&O the flat cars? Who makes the cotton fiber material for the smoke units?

  • @Railroadtrip445 Soon as I get the tender, saving up for it!

  • beautiful engine!

  • @GEOMIMI89 you gonna make a video i want to see yours

  • Hi Jake, Glad to see you got this engine! I just got mine and I agree with you. The detail is amazing! The videos and pics of this loco don't do it justice. You have to see it in person to appreciate it. Enjoy the engine and looking forward to you videos!

  • @bigonlionel750 I know the money is just not there.
