Belly Dancing Karen Barbee Adkisson Karavan Studios History

In 1988, Karavan Studio was born. Her first home was on Lockhill-Selma. In 1996, Karavan relocated to a newly renovated building on S. Alamo. In 2001, she moved to N. St. Mary's and lived there for six years. In 2007, after the studio's 13th annual recital, the space was closed and all classes were moved into the beautiful Synergy Studio at the Pearl.
