I wouldn't say 300 plus miles in 2 days was epic, I regularly put in 700 miles plus on day trip. The Metzler Z6's performed very well on my ST1300, good handling and mileage, but I prefer Bridgestone.

You guys should say something about the tyres, nice view and trip, why should i get mezzler tyres now? Because u say so!? U tested more models, witch one is good for what? Where is the lesson and the advise?

U only ride the bikes, it seams to me there is no brain involved with all this!

We had Metzelers on our two K1200 GT machines when we bought them, we took them off after only 6,000kms, worst tyres we have ever used. Vicmoto Motocrcyle Tours:)

Traded in my 'greasy' Metzler Z6's off of my '04 BMW R1150RT for the new Dunlop Road Handler's. Day and night, the difference is incredible. Avon's are excellent, if I rode more in the rain I'd consider Avon's but love the Dunlops and won't trade down.
