southwestern/western ct (proximate to ny) has a ton of yankee fans. northern (near mass.) and eastern (near rhode island) are pretty much red sox country ( although there's a split there also)

Jim Calhoun isn't as big of a jerk as everybody makes him out to be, he just gets asked some ridiculous qeustions that would make alot of people furious. When your one of the top coaches in the league you take a shit load of heat for any little mistake. And often they don't blow up until the 100th time theyv'e heard the same fucking qeustion.
