I've been studying this famous classic blues from hendrix, and I'm happy to show you the intro :)
Please find below links to a video I made with my good old Gibson Corvus. Note that I play here without any amplification, this is more like an exercise !

  • @xXlopoXx

yes I know ,I really hate that silly vibrato :)

  • What model of Corvus do you have? I can't tell in these videos. There's one with one humbucker, one with two humbuckers and one with three single coils.

  • @t0rment2004 only 1 humbucker ( so corvus model I )

  • Very nice Dude :)

  • @freeLobzang Lets see you do it on your video. You a hater ?

  • learn to do a butterfly vibrato but besides that not bad at all.

  • lob turn your hand down dont try to wiggle your finger and if ya only got 1 pick up put that shit on rhythm so you get that blues sound but keep up the good work

  • You need to loosen up. you're way too tense -- and your guitar playing shows it. Plus you have no vibrato at all. Lots of changes need to be done buddy =)

  • do you have a link to the tabs or notes? would appreciate if you helped me thanks

  • @xXlopoXx His playing is awesome. Especially since there's no amp. In my opinion a lot of people take vibrato waaaaaay over the top. Think of playing as a cake and vibrato as the icing. Some people make a single layer cake with 3 foot thick icing on top. With vibrato a little goes a long way!

  • shortty!

  • Brother, nice playing, but it would greatly help to have the camera view slightly from over the top of your fingers. All I can make out is your knuckles instead of actual finger position. I really like your intrepretation.

  • @freeLobzang you have to ease up on the hand a lot, relax your thumb, and just rock the hand back and forth with your wrist. Try it! =)
