i recently injured (twisted) my ankle and had a partial ligament rupture ...i went through the physical therapy (4 weeks) and am still working on it myself (although substantially more, since i don't have the time because of work)....it's now been almost 3 months since the injury and i still haven't fully recovered...my leg *keeps swelling* and it isn't *as flexible* as it used to be...also, i have noticed the slight outward inversion on my foot while walking... so, my question is:
Hi cig. Sorry to hear about your ankle problem. Generally ankle swelling only goes down when you return to a normal walking pattern. Practise standing on your leg with the foot pointing forward and eventually your brain takes up this new. Your physio should have done this but if problems persist see another physio who is recommended.
