Kennyxg is right smaller motor equal power ford has always had a better power to weight ratio than chevy and after the 60's chevy has always had to build a bigger motor just to stay competitive not knocking chevy just speaking the truth hope it doesn't offend anyone

A well built 351 would and has run if not beaten a hci ls1 the ls1 is an aluminum block 2.00 valve from the factory. Thats how stupid some people are to realize Ford does it with so much less. Any dumb Ass can go buy an Ls1 and run 11's cause they all have the same shit.. lol! at the Chevy guy's....

So a 351 with a head and cam swap with probably all bolt ons and juice cant beat a ls1 with bolt ons. sounds like a bunch of bs to me. A 302 with AFR heads intake and a cam with bolt ons will do the job just fine. Especially if he had an auto with a high stall.
