I remember when me and my friend would try to break our mother's crystal glasses with Memorexes. Needless to say it did not work, so we broke them anyway. We were out of our minds when we did this.

I spent FAR too much time doing cassette surgery of this sort.
Good times, good times.

Reading these comments really brings back memories of old audio cassettes. The amount of times I opened them to fix them because they'd broken. Sticking broken ends of tape together using sellotape - terrible damage to the head of course! How primitive it seems now!

If one is to respect your opinion, then one needs ask, "What's yours of Ella?"

...music business? Isn't that an oxymoron? Remember, musicians make money for the music, "stars" make noise for the money.

Ah, the bitchy, talentless hacks known as audiophiles.

Those Memorex tapes were garbage. The mechanisms were unreliable and the pressure pads would deteriorate prematurely. The worst part is they glued the damn things together so you couldn't fix them.

Maybe a few years later as that is a Type III cassette (Ferric-Chrome). Maybe more like 1977.
