my god! i remeber going here when i was 6! i was amazed. now there is just a stupid tourist shop there. aw fond memories.

but when i go to universal i always invision the old fun house still being there.

I was told that Mystery Fun House was David Siegel's first business venture (reason why it says Westgate now, thats how he got rich) so I wonder if he keeps all this property just for sentimental reasons?

Ironically I was given a free pass to this attraction after spending hours at a timeshare location (probably run by the Westgate guys who currently occupy the premises). Sadly I never got to return here since that 1995 visit where I had a very sweaty night's sleep after almost being duped into signing up for a timeshare! Sad to think after my inaugural 1989 Orlando visit the apparent relentless pleasure dream seems to have faltered somewhat. Scary new world?

I think the distraction of the building may overcome that.

I hated to see this go, I used to go to this place everytime my familyh went to Florida. Why do the best attractions like this have to close? R.I.P. Mystery Funhouse. You'll be missed.

I use to go to this place for my birthday when I was a teenager in the 90's. It sucks that it closed down and turned into ruins. : - (
